After I made the thumbnail sketches and I had decided on one car that I would wish to build, I drew it out on the grid paper according to the exact measurements and angles at which the curves and edges are suppose to be made at. After making the real life sized sketch of the shape of the car on the grid I later realized that I still have a lot of mass left despite me cutting off so much wood from the front and back. Therefore, in order to reduce the mass even further, i decided to make my co2 dragster even skinnier so that the mass from the center of the dragster decreases and overall making the dragster light-weight which means more speed. To do so I basically made the body of the dragster so that it is skinny but at the same time it is not too fragile because I do not wish for my dragster to snap or break, so I tried to make it durable and light-weighted at the same time.
