1. What where interesting things that you found online? How might they shape your ideas? What design

While researching I found several interesting CO2 car designs online and I looked at examples of CO2 cars by students. The types of CO2 cars that we could possibly build were; rail cars, shell cars, and normal cars. The rail cars have a narrow body and have a body that is lower to the ground in the front and then rises up to hold the CO2 cartridge. These cars are very aerodynamic but they are fragile and can easily break whereas shell cars have a low drag aerodynamic shape but at the same time are more difficult to build. Considering the fact the shell cars are difficult to build and rail cars are fragile I decided to make a rail car but tried to make sure that it is somewhat like a normal car because these cars can be built easily using the tools given to us. The most common type of CO2 car that i found were rail cars and normal cars since they are aerodynamic because of them having a narrow body and they are pretty basic whereas the shell cars are not so common and are way more difficult to construct, especially with the type of tools we are being given. For my design, I made a car that is a rail car. The body of my car is similar to a rail car since it has a narrow body but unlike a rail car, the front of my car is not lower than the back, rather they are aligned and are on the same plain as a normal car would be.
